FX acts to secure 'Valor'

'Act of Valor'FX has sealed a deal with Relativity Media for broadcast rights to "Act of Valor," the actioner that led the B.O. this past weekend.Deal continues FX's streak of snapping up the broadcast window for new theatricals, following deals with Universal for "Safe House" and "Contraband"; with Sony for "The Vow" and "Underworld: Awakening" and with Fox for "Chronicle."The cabler's other recent pickups include Relativity's "Immortals," Fox's "This Means War" and "Red Tails," Sony's "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance" and U's "Wanderlust.""Act of Valor," which opened to $24.7 million at the domestic box office, will be available to FX in mid-2014.
